“It is with great pride that I undertake the role of Chair of Governors. I have many years experience working in education; as a teacher, Headteacher and School Improvement Advisor for the Local Authority. I currently support the development of trainee teachers within various schools across the Wakefield District. I hope to bring my wealth of experience to lead the governing body in supporting and challenging school leaders in order to ensure that ensure a high quality of education for the pupils of Crofton Junior School.”

John Allen, Chair of Governors

There has been one change to the membership of the governing body this academic year. Mrs Natalie Ogier has resigned from the governing body and Mr David Thomas joined as a co-opted member on 18th November 2020.

All Governors are required to sign an annual declaration of business interests and report any new interests at each Governing Board meeting.
